Established by Mr Parker and Mr Monteith in 1923, Monteith and Parker were originally situated in Barton Street in central Hamilton. They were set up as a panel beating, radiator repair, towing and wheel alignment shop at this time. Robert Renwick then purchased the business in 1976 and had been involved in the business for many years. The business was later relocated to Lake road approximately twelve years ago and expanded to include cable manufacturing and courtesy cars. |
Robert originally employed Brett as manager in 1994, who went on to purchase the company in 1996. In 2011 Mike Graham. Monteith and Parker (1976) Limited is now a registered vehical repairer with the Collision Repair Association, and Brett is one of three registered vehicle certifiers in Hamilton at this time.
